The AGP has developed a National Aerospace Technology Programme (NATEP) aimed at small and medium sized suppliers to help them develop their own innovative technologies to increase their ability to win new business with higher tier companies anywhere in the world.
NATEP builds on the successful regional technology exploitation programme previously run in the Midlands. The Government's Advanced Manufacturing Supply Chain Initiative (AMSCI) provides the opportunity to take this forward with £23million of funding for the Programme.
NATEP is being coordinated regionally through the aerospace alliances: with NWAA responsible for the North West region.
Collaborations of 2 or more organisations will be able to submit bids for grant funding of between £50,000 - £150,000, to fund technology projects with a duration of up to 18 months. Collaborations will work with their regional alliance in the development of a project bid, with in-kind support from a Regional Advisory Panel and National Steering Board.
Detailed information, dates of calls and application forms are available on the NATEP website
