The Aerospace Trade Mission to Ukraine is aimed to provide UK companies with the opportunity to meet with key manufacturers in the Ukrainian aerospace sector, gain an understanding of the upcoming programmes, general market overview, its
tendencies and supply chain rules and regulations.
Aerospace is one of Ukraine’s highest value-adding manufacturing sectors. Opportunities in Ukrainian aerospace are centred on Ukraine’s main aerospace company, Antonov, which is assessed to have supply chain opportunities of up to £1 bln over the next 5-10 years on three major programmes: the An-124, An-132, and An-178. Other opportunities include helicopters upgrade programmes, supply chain and operational equipment opportunities.
The mission is planned to take place during the dates of the leading aerospace trade fair in Ukraine – X International Aviation and Space Salon Aviasvit 2016 (11-14 October 2016, Kyiv, Ukraine). This biennial expo brings together all Ukrainian government and industry stakeholders. DIT Ukraine will be arranging the UK
National Stand at this fair, which will offer excellent opportunities to showcase your company and products in fast developing Ukrainian market.
Aviasvit is the only aerospace show in Ukraine, a platform that brings together all stakeholders in the industry. The UK stand is aimed to raise awareness of the UK offer among Ukrainian customers, to give UK companies access to main industry players in Ukraine in one place.
DIT Ukraine is organizing the trade programme and will therefore be covering all administrative costs for the visit including venue hire, networking lunches, evening
reception and local transportation costs.
However, the DIT Ukraine will charge participants an OMIS fee to set up the group programme. This fee will be £252 + VAT per company. In addition participants will need to cover their flights, accommodation and personal expenses associated with this mission.
OMIS charge includes: presence on the stand (pop-ups, exhibits, materials - space will be provided on a first come first served basis); pre-arranged meetings with Ukrainian companies; interpretation if required; use of shared meeting area on the stand; lunches and evening reception; local transportation.
