The National Apprenticeship Show Manchester will take place at Manchester Central Exhibition Centre on 18th/19th October 2016. The focus is strictly on Apprenticeships and exhibitors will promote only apprenticeship opportunities. It is this specific focus which identifies National Apprenticeship Shows, ensuring prepared and targeted visitors for exhibitors and clear expectations of the event for visitors.
Partners in developing and supporting the events include Nadhim Zahawi (Prime Minister’s Advisor on Apprenticeships), the Skills Funding Agency and National Apprenticeship Service, local Enterprise Partnerships and local Councils. To promote the events we work closely with national newspapers, TV, local radio and print media and have a dedicated social media department. Our first event was featured in The Times and both ITV and BBC reported live from the event.
All secondary schools in the catchment area are invited and offered bursaries for their student years 10-13 to attend. Manchester Central also run an evening session for young people with their parents and carers, which is well attended and always produces quality, well-motivated and well-supported candidates.
To the right of this page is the brochure for the National Apprenticeship Show Manchester and here is a link to the event website, where you will also see links to the first National Apprenticeship Show we ran earlier this month in Milton Keynes, with 18,000 visitors. We are currently collating feedback from exhibitors and editing video footage from that event which I can share with you if you wish.
