AGP NATEP

This event will showcase new technologies being developed for aero engines by UK companies supported by NATEP, a national programme under which aerospace supply chain companies are developing more than 100 new technologies for the UK and global aerospace industry.

These projects encompass new product and process technologies along the whole product lifecycle from design to manufacturing and to MRO.

Rolls-Royce is the end user on 12 of the projects and has kindly agreed to host this event at its superb Learning and Development Centre in Derby. The event will be opened by Simon Burr, Director, Engineering & Technology - Civil Aerospace, Rolls-Royce.

The event will provide a forum for aerospace supply chain companies that are working on one of the 100+ NATEP projects related to aero engine technologies to present some of their new ideas to the wider world in a supportive environment that includes potential customers, other NATEP companies and other aerospace industry stakeholders. There will be formal presentations, and NATEP project companies will have stands where they can talk to you about what their companies and their new technologies can offer.

NATEP supports aerospace supply chain companies to develop innovative technologies, working in collaboration with others and supported by higher tier companies. It is equipping them to win new business with existing companies and to diversify their customer base, including in export markets. It also injects R&D capabilities that will contribute to a company’s long-term competitiveness and sustainability.
