The 11th NWAA Supply Chain Workshop will feature the North West’s industry leading approach to the new national standard for aerospace supply chain improvement – the SC21 Competitiveness and Growth Programme. Attendees of the workshop will meet key customers BAE SYSTEMS, Boeing, Rolls Royce and Safran and will observe keynote presentations on why these organisations are currently supporting the first 12 aerospace suppliers* to improve their competitiveness and grow their business.
The workshop will also hear from some of the companies that are undertaking this new national programme and who are completing some of the first National Manufacturing Competitiveness Levels (NMCL) assessments. The architect of the new NMCL model will also be presenting on how this new model captures both a view of capability but also key customers views on the competitiveness of their suppliers – crucial information for any organisation.
Attendees will also have an opportunity to learn why key customers such as BAE Systems, Rolls Royce and Safran are providing the aerospace suppliers with mentors who aim to work with the companies to deliver this long term strategic programme of improvement.
This workshop will be invaluable to a range of organisations, from those aerospace suppliers who might want to join the aerospace suppliers already engaged, to those who might want to provide training, coaching and consultancy support to a new national programme.
The NWAA Supply Chain Workshop will be an opportunity for organisations to talk to key customers and their mentors, beneficiary aerospace suppliers, and NWAA staff about how they can support the competitiveness and growth of the North West’s Aerospace and Defence Sectors.
