The University of Central Lancashire is committed to supporting local businesses. There are 54,000 small/medium businesses in Lancashire and we would like to reach all of them so that we can share the wealth of resources we have here at UCLan.

To better understand the barriers to initial contact between local businesses and the University we are holding an open discussion event for local businesses to join us for breakfast and tell us how we can serve you better. We hope that by listening to local businesses we can reach and support more businesses in the future. We would really appreciate your input on this research project.

We are running a fully catered breakfast discussion on Friday 27th July and you are invited to attend. The discussion will take the form of a focus group. The discussion will be informal and we would really appreciate your time and attendance at this event. You will also go away with details of 11 European funded project that are available to Lancashire based businesses (criteria applies). If you are unable to make the breakfast, you can find out about all the business support offered by the Centre and UCLan at www.uclan.ac.uk/business.

If you would like more information on this event or to confirm your place, please contact Christian Hopes: CHopes1@uclan.ac.uk | 01772 894321.
