This DIT event is designed to help companies understand the China market, the opportunities and challenges, and various market entry strategies. Besides DIT sector insight, you will hear directly from UK companies involved in the market, and the China-Britain Business Council (CBBC) which has a wealth of multi-sector in-country experience.
About the event
By 2024, China will eclipse the US as the world’s largest aerospace market based upon passenger numbers and sales of new aircraft. This will not only change the regional customer base, but also the industrial landscape. With China investing heavily in its own aircraft programmes to rival Airbus and Boeing, there are opportunities for UK suppliers ranging from structures and systems through to interiors and services.
Purpose of the event
Delegates will get overviews of Chinese Market & Programmes and have chance for face to face exchange with China cultural, business and aerospace specialists – so participants will better understand potential direct and supply chain opportunities, through direct marketing or some joint investment arrangements with international partners. They will also gain an insight into business & cultural processes and what support is available from the UK.
