Themis, the award-winning professional business training and Apprenticeship arm of Burnley College, is to host its first Open for Business event this month, giving employers across the region the opportunity to develop their skills and knowledge in a range of topics vital for business success.
The event, which is open to employers large and small in a diverse range of industries, will give delegates the chance to take part in training delivered by industry experts in key areas which will lead to business growth; an engaged and motivated workforce and working practices which can boost productivity.

Date and time: Thursday, 27 February, 9.30am-3pm
Delegates will be able to choose four of the following workshops and seminars on the day:
- Google Analytics
- Mindfulness in the Workplace and for Personal Use
- Positive Deviance
- Manslaughter and Vicarious Liability
- Safeguarding in the Workplace
- Continuous Business Improvement (LEAN manufacturing).
