** NWAA are pleased to announce SAFRAN & GKN Aerospace to present on Supply Chain Collaboration at the next Supply Chain Workshop - 25th March (09:00-14:30) **
The theme of the workshop is 'Developing Long-Term Collaborative Relationships with Customers through New Technology'.
NWAA are delighted to announce that Safran will present on the UK’s new integrated Nacelle project which has been developed following the aerospace growth partnerships analysis of strategic competency. Safran will be looking for collaboration from the Supply Chain in the development of this exciting new UK capability.
Paul Gardner, R&T Programme Manager will present on the opportunity for the UK to invest in technology, skills and the development of the supply chain so that the UK can put itself in a strong position to gain over £5 billion pounds of business in Integrated Nacelles over the next 20 years.
We are also thrilled to announce that Stephen Cowan, Vice President of the UK Global Technology Centre –GKN Aerospace - Civil Airframes will be presenting on GKN’s new Global Technology Centre (GTC). The GTC is a 10,000 square meter open access collaborative research and development centre with the aim of developing technologies with companies within the Supply Chain.
We believe this workshop will provide our members with the fantastic opportunity to understand how to build relationships with new customers through technology and innovation.
The Supply Chain Workshop will also have an industry update from David Bailey, Director of Aerospace Consulting as well as two interactive breakout sessions. NWAA Supply Chain Workshops provide an excellent opportunity for members (and non-members) the chance to network and input their thoughts, views and experiences on the aerospace industry.
The event will be followed by a networking buffet lunch.
