Island tops MORI poll as a place to live

According to MORI, the polling and opinion research company, 93% of residents are either happy or very happy with the Isle of Man as a place to live.

Health care, standards of education, transport and communication links are excellent.

The island has a friendly and relaxed pace of life offering many fine restaurants, shops and leisure facilities.

The island offers a range of leisure activities and enjoys a rich sporting heritage. Outdoor pursuits include: golf, sea and river fishing, sailing, surfing, windsurfing, hang gliding, diving and rambling. International car rallying, cycling, powerboat racing and the famous TT motorcycle races are also annual events.

Personal Taxation

The standard rate of personal tax is just 10% and the higher rate is 18%. Personal allowances are very generous and can be transferred between married couples.
