| The NWAA is the most advanced cluster management organisation in the region, reaching some 750 companies throughout the country and with an active membership of over 380. The organisation provides all the vital links between the prime contractors, all levels of the supply chain, academia, local government and other stakeholders in the industry. The focus of the NWAA is on skills and supply chain development, technology and innovation - the key elements to the creation of a world competitive supply chain. We have the first Supply Chain Excellence (ASCE) programme that has the co-ordinated backing of the three regional prime contractors, Airbus UK, BAE Systems and Rolls-Royce plc. This ground breaking programme is designed to develop the supply chain required for the region to be globally competitive. |

Our mission is to provide a fully integrated support structure for North West aerospace and defence companies and in doing so, make a real contribution to the North West aerospace industry.
