On May 12th at the Dunkenhalgh Hotel Members of the North West Aerospace Alliance learned about implementing the strategic vision for UK Aerospace Aerospace a focus on Manufacturing, Technology, Supply Chain and Skills.
With an impressive line up of speakers and topics, this was an event not to be missed.
NWAA’s Dr David Bailey started the days’ event with a welcome to all the attendees and introduction to the days’ programme.
Clive Lewis, Managing Partner, Achieving The Difference LLP, discussed ‘International Opportunities - Global Aerospace Outlook 2016’.
Jeegar Kakkad, Chief Economist and Director of Policy at ADS, then gave a ‘UK and Global Economy - Industry Update.
While gold sponsor NatWest Bank’s Richard Hill, Head of Automotive and Manufacturing, Corporate and Commercial Banking, talked about ‘The Road Ahead For UK Manufacturing’ Nick Hussey, Manging Director, Hennik Research, publishers of The Manufacture Magazine gave a ‘UK Manufacturing - Industry Update’.
Platinum sponsor P.P. Group’s Managing Director, Peter McCabe, talked about ‘Competing Against The Low-Cost Countries Using Automation And Advanced Technologies, In Order To protect UK Manufacturing’.
