Ideagen to unveil Q-Pulse First Article Inspection application at International Aerospace Quality Group (IAQG).
Ideagen, developer of quality, safety, audit, performance and risk management software, is to unveil new Q-Pulse applications designed to improve quality inspection and process management.
Q-Pulse FAIR, Q-Pulse PPAP and Q-Pulse NPI will be launched at the upcoming International Aerospace Quality Group (IAQG) event in Stockholm, Sweden, this month.
The software helps organisations manage quality inspection and process management tasks involved in new product introduction, including first article inspection as required by AS9102B.
Previously known as Visual FAIR, Visual PPAP and Visual NPI, the applications were obtained by Ideagen following its strategic acquisition of IPI Solutions Ltd in 2016. They are used by organisations to streamline processes, remove variation and mistake-proof important and complex tasks.
Paul Callaghan, Senior Product Manager, said the launch of Q-Pulse FAIR, PPAP and NPI was another exciting milestone for the company.

The computer aided quality apps will be integrated with Q-Pulse to provide several benefits for users, particularly in the aerospace & defence, automotive, PCB and electronics, energy and medical devices industries. The integration will provide:
- Document management for FAI, PPAP and Inspection reports
- Automation of the management of non-conformities
The IAQG event in Stockholm, which takes place between May 8th-11th, focuses on the improvement of quality in the Aviation, Space and Defence industry. Its aim is to continuously improve processes used by the supply chain to consistently deliver high quality products, thereby reducing non-value added activities and costs.
