In addition to a capable sub-supplier network in South Korea which includes a large number of NADCAP-compliant companies, Sigma ASL manufacture precision components via their AS9100D certified subsidiary, Sigma Manufacturing Solutions (SMS). SMS has dedicated facilities in South Korea, overseen by some of the country’s best engineers.
Sigma ASL and SMS COO Shang Y. Kim explains - 'With its well-developed infrastructure, low-cost raw materials and highly qualified workforce, South Korea is today’s most exciting environment for automotive engineering'. Indeed. Over 25 years, Sigma ASL has grown into a truly global enterprise with a yearly turnover in excess of $80m and over 470 individual product lines. In 2017, Sigma ASL supplied their customers with over 7 million units.
The recent Advanced Engineering 2018 exhibition at the NEC in Birmingham provided a great opportunity for Sigma ASL to showcase their capabilities and products, and proved to be a successful exhibiton attended by many industry leaders from a variety of sectors including Aerospace.
With all the tools now in place to service the Aerospace industry, Sigma ASL will be formerly launching their Aerospace division in 2019, targeting successful partnerships utilising their significant capabilites and infrastructure.
