Dear NWAA Member,

As you probably know, the Meggitt lead ventilator challenge consortia are working tirelessly to produce a solution in this time of crisis. However, several organisations have reached out to both Meggitt, the HVMC and other consortia partners directly offering to support, all in good intent of course. This is leading to the consortia leads being inundated with emails and contacts when they are already working against time. We are requesting not to contact Hugh Clayton or Dick Elsy directly with enquiries and would appreciate if you could channel through enquiries / inputs using contacts provided below. To manage this more efficiently, Katherine Bennett from Airbus will be leading public affairs for the consortia and will be able to answer any generic enquiries about the consortia itself. Below include specific contacts related to this:

  1. If your enquiry is about the Ventilator Challenge Consortia led by Meggitt, and is non-technical, please contact Katherine Bennett
  2. If your enquiry is technical or about ventilator specifications etc, please contact and he will be able to consolidate your requests to the consortia team.
  3. If your enquiry is about capabilities your organisation or other organisations that you know can offer to manufacture ventilators or provide other equipment to health workers, please provide details directly to BEIS through this link: . Alternatively, email You can also contact Syma Cullasy or Ashley Gasson at ADS who can add details to a capability list from ADS that will be shared with the consortia leads and the BEIS team.

Hope the above information helps. Thank you.
