Business University Challenge 2015

Do you want to test your skills in negotiation, communication, innovation and presentation against fellow North West companies, universities and colleges?
Do you want to have the opportunity to win £1500 (winning team) or £200 for exceptional individuals?

If you are either a North West company within the Aerospace and Defence Supply Chain, or a North West University or College with students where at least one member is studying an aerospace related course this Challenge is for you.

Entries will be open for teams of three, between 3rd November 2015 – 27th November 2015, full guidelines and entry details will be added to our website: www.aerospace.co.uk.* Monday the 3rd of November.

Teams will be invited to compete on Wednesday 27th January 2016 at Preston’s College.

The teams of three will go head to head on a series of mini challenges which will test their:

•    Innovation
•    Problem solving
•    Communication
•    Business Acumen
•    Presentation skills
•    Team work, Planning and Management

The top three teams will be invited to attend the NWAA New Talent Awards evening, held on Thursday 3rd March 2016 at the Imperial War Museum where the overall Winning Team will be announced and presented with the £1500 prize money and Winners Trophy.  

Two individuals, who the judges believe displayed outstanding professional excellence throughout the challenge, will be invited to attend the NWAA New Talent Awards evening and will be presented with a £200 cheque and trophy.

* Entry fee £150. Teams allocated a place will be notified by the end of the following week. Teams not securing a place in the first instance will be placed on a reserve list and allocated a place should one become available.
