ASCE2 Shared Services Overview
As part of the ASCE2 programme the NWAA is in the process of establishing a virtual shared service facility which will enable 45 companies in the northwest aerospace supply chain to reduce cost and improve competitiveness by aggregating procurement and providing member companies with access to professional services for non-core activities.
Our mission is to contribute to the competitiveness of a world class aerospace supply chain through the year on year reduction of specific overhead and procurement costs, and to increase capacity and capability through the creation of a shared expert practices/professional services centre.
Services to be provided
The Shared Services Team will be launching a range of new services over the next 3 months which will include:
• Stationery & Office Equipment
• Telecoms, e.g. broadband, landlines, mobiles & maintenance
• Fleet & Fuel Services, e.g. fuel cards, vehicle hire/ lease/ purchase
• Property Maintenance
• Waste Management, including general, recycling & some hazardous
• Packaging
• Oils, Gases & Chemicals
The Team are seeking companies to pilot the services as they are introduced.
