We are pleased to announce that the key note speaker for this year’s New Talent Awards, being held on Thursday 7th March 2019 at the Imperial War Museum North, is Chris Hebert CEng MIMechE.

After graduating from the University of Bristol with an MEng in Aeronautical Engineering in 1999, Chris Hebert started his career at the race car constructor Reynard Motorsport, serving an apprenticeship role across the company before joining the aerodynamics department. This was followed by stints at the Jaguar, Red Bull and Toyota Formula 1 teams working in wind tunnels and at race tracks around the world, measuring and developing aerodynamic performance. When Toyota pulled out of F1 at the end of 2009, Chris became the Head of Aerodynamics as the company moved to being an engineering service provider and from F1 into endurance racing at the Le Mans 24hrs. In 2015 Chris joined a former colleague to form D2H, where he works as the Engineering Director – Aerodynamics, providing engineering services to multinational companies around the world in the motorsport and automotive sectors, whilst also leading the aero development for the British Olympic programmes
