The APMP course can be run in many ways depending on the clients requirements. As a public course this is a 4-day workshop plus an exam over 5 days.
Most of our larger clients prefer a 4 day workshop with 1 day exam prep and exam day. To enquire further about this format for groups please get in touch.
The APMP course focuses on project management concepts and processes in line with the Association for Project Management (APM).
These processes apply to any project that is related directly to business change irrespective of the organization structure or environment. The content is based entirely upon the APM Body of Knowledge, (APMBoK), which itself represents the topics in which professionals in project management should be knowledgeable and competent.
The exam is a 3 hour written paper culminating in delegates achieving the APMP qualification – a well recognised standard in Project Management.
The APMP syllabus covers a wide breadth of topics, from the essential management tools required to monitor and control a project through to the wider context in which the project is being managed in terms of social and environmental issues, finance, organisation, procurement and people management including:
