The program is structured as follows: \n  \nFirst Two Years: Students will study and develop essential principles that underpin all engineering disciplines. This foundation ensures a well-rounded understanding of numerous engineering concepts\, enabling them to solve complex\, interdisciplinary problems. \n  \nLast Two Years: Students will specialise in one of three pathways\, each leading to a Bachelor of Engineering with Honours (IEng) degree: \n  \n\nManufacturing/Mechanical Engineer\nProduct Design and Development Engineer (Mechatronics)\nElectrical/Electronic Technical Support Engineer\n\n  \nBy attending this event\, you’ll have the opportunity to network with industry leaders\, explore the benefits of our apprenticeship program\, and understand how it can be tailored to meet the specific needs of your business. \nThis program is the fastest path to cultivating the engineering talent your industry demands. Join us in fostering the next generation of engineering professionals. \n  \nGrants Available to Businesses: \n\nFor employees aged 18-21: The program is entirely free of cost.\nRegistered businesses with CITB: Receive £2\,500 per year for each apprentice\, payable every 13 weeks\, with an additional £3\,500 achievement grant upon completion. If you are not registered with the CITB\, we can assist you.\nEnrolment grant: £1\,000 per employee\, with a potential additional £3\,000 grant if you haven’t had an apprentice since 2022.\nSMEs: Benefit from 95% government funding for apprenticeship training. Your contribution is limited to 5% of the program and assessment costs\, a maximum one-time payment of £1\,350.
