Green Shield Group begins installation at Foxfields Hotel in Clitheroe
Lancashire-based renewable energy firm continues to lead the way in sustainable hospitality solutions
Renewable energy provider Green Shield Group has announced the installation of a solar PV system at Foxfields Country Hotel in Clitheroe, marking a major milestone in the hotel’s ongoing commitment to sustainability and energy efficiency.
The 110 kWp solar PV system, which is currently being installed on the roof is designed to significantly reduce the property’s carbon footprint whilst cutting long-term energy costs by almost £25,000 in Year 1. The installation which is set to complete in June will reduce the hotel’s reliance on grid-supplied energy by 25% and is set to reduce the hotel’s carbon emission by almost 21,000 kg CO2 in the first year.
