Olsen Actuators & Drives Signs ALT Bearings Partnership Agreement
Daresbury, November 2025 – Olsen Actuators & Drives are delighted to announce their new partnership agreement with ALT Bearings. Located in Montmélian, France, ALT are specialists in the design and manufacture of high performance roller screws and roller bearings, dedicated to maintaining the highest quality, design, engineering and manufacturing standards. The management team is at the heart of roller screw development, having filed over 65 patents. The engineering team use advanced application knowledge alongside design and life modelling software tools, validated by test evidence, to design products that typically provide a 30% increase in load and life capability, when compared with similar products. This results in lighter weight solutions for the same performance requirements, reducing overall platform mass, lowering fuel consumption, and supporting greater sustainability.
This collaboration marks the start of a strong strategic partnership between two companies, committed to engineering excellence, innovation and precision, with the goal of supplying the most advanced EMA solutions in the world.
ALT Bearings is renowned for its expertise in designing and producing components for technically demanding environments including space, aerospace, marine, subsea and robotics.
