Tapeswitch to sponsor North West Aerospace Alliance Annual Conference 2026

Chorley-based manufacturer Tapeswitch Ltd will be exhibiting at the North West Aerospace Alliance Annual Conference at the Concorde Conference Centre, Altrincham, on Wednesday 25th February 2026.

Now in its eleventh year, the NWAA annual, one-day industry conference brings together over 180 attendees, with previous sponsors and speakers including Airbus, Rolls-Royce, the Aerospace Technology Institute and the Northern Powerhouse Partnership. Confirmed keynote contributors for the 2026 event include Brookhouse Aerospace, Rolls-Royce and the Aerospace Technology Institute.

Established in 1956, Tapeswitch specialises in the design and manufacture of pressure-sensitive safety technologies used in industrial, transport and automation environments. Its product portfolio includes ribbon switches, sensing edges, safety bumpers, safety mats and bespoke systems, all manufactured in the UK and distributed globally.

Tapeswitch is one of fourteen sponsors from across the UK and will be exhibiting details of its aerospace products, including the HaloProtect system which was launched at the MRO Europe expo at ExCeL London in October last year.

Designed with the aviation maintenance sector in mind, the new HaloProtect system provides rapid-response collision protection for mobile elevated work platforms (MEWPs), helping reduce equipment damage and minimise operator risk.
