Bryden Precision Engineering Increases Turning Capacity by 50%
Bryden Precision Engineering has announced a major increase in its turning capacity following a recent programme of investment in automation and machining technology.
The Lancashire-based precision engineering specialist has increased its turning capacity by 50%, enabling the business to offer faster lead times and greater flexibility for customers requiring precision turned components and quick-turnaround manufacturing support.
The expansion has been driven by the installation of three new bar feeders and a part catcher, alongside the integration of a collaborative robot (cobot) on one of the company’s lathes. These enhancements have allowed Bryden Precision Engineering to operate four machines in lights-out manufacturing mode, maximising productivity and increasing available machining hours.
The investment reflects the company’s ongoing commitment to continuous improvement, advanced manufacturing and delivering responsive support to customers across a range of sectors. By increasing automation and machine utilisation, Bryden Precision Engineering is well positioned to meet growing demand while maintaining the high standards of quality and service for which it is known.
As a result of the additional capacity, the company is now actively seeking enquiries for turning work requiring fast turnaround times. Businesses with urgent machining requirements are encouraged to contact the team to discuss their needs.
