Machina Engineering Ltd achieves EN 9100:2018 certification within four months with zero non-conformances
Machina Engineering Ltd, the precision CNC machining business based in Thirsk, North Yorkshire, has been certified to EN 9100:2018 (technically equivalent to AS9100D) and ISO 9001:2015 by BSI, under UKAS accreditation and the ADS aerospace sector scheme.
Certificate FM 843945 was issued on 14 August 2026, with a certified scope of CNC machining services for precision engineered components.
The certification audit closed with no non-conformances raised, neither major nor minor, within four months of project start.
Rather than certifying to ISO 9001 first and adding EN 9100 in a second cycle, the company took both standards through a single combined audit.
The company machines precision components for the aerospace, defence and space sectors, and holds Cyber Essentials certification and JOSCAR registration alongside NCAGE code U2HT9. The certificate is verifiable via the BSI client directory.
