Our Professional Engineering Degree Apprenticeship is meticulously designed to provide apprentices with the essential skills and knowledge required to thrive in today’s ever-evolving engineering landscape. The program is structured as follows:

 

First Two Years: Students will study and develop essential principles that underpin all engineering disciplines. This foundation ensures a well-rounded understanding of numerous engineering concepts, enabling them to solve complex, interdisciplinary problems.

 

Last Two Years: Students will specialise in one of three pathways, each leading to a Bachelor of Engineering with Honours (IEng) degree:

 

  1. Manufacturing/Mechanical Engineer
  2. Product Design and Development Engineer (Mechatronics)
  3. Electrical/Electronic Technical Support Engineer

This program is the fastest path to cultivating the engineering talent your industry demands. Join us in fostering the next generation of engineering professionals.

 

Grants Available to Businesses:

  • For employees aged 18-21: The program is entirely free of cost.
  • Registered businesses with CITB: Receive £2,500 per year for each apprentice, payable every 13 weeks, with an additional £3,500 achievement grant upon completion. If you are not registered with the CITB, we can assist you.
  • Enrolment grant: £1,000 per employee, with a potential additional £3,000 grant if you haven’t had an apprentice since 2022.
  • SMEs: Benefit from 95% government funding for apprenticeship training. Your contribution is limited to 5% of the program and assessment costs, a maximum one-time payment of £1,350. We also assist SMEs in obtaining Levy transfers from larger organisations.
  • Large employers: Utilise your levy funds to cover the cost of the Degree Apprenticeship.
