Event Background & Objectives

This sustainability showcase is focused on briefing the aerospace supply chain in the North West and Wales on Airbus’ commitment to decarbonising the aerospace sector. This is one of a series of events organised by our local trade associations to raise the profile of sustainability topics / actions suppliers can take to decarbonise.

Using Airbus’ operations in Broughton as the backdrop, we will demonstrate how Airbus is charging forward on a path to decarbonisation by transforming our operations and approaches to wing manufacturing in Wales.

This event is also part of Airbus’ AGP (Aerospace Growth Partnership) Commitment to support supply chain development, Paul McKinlay and Oriel Petry sit on the board of the AGP.
