Burnley College – Themis Awards
Article by Catherine Toon – Project Manager NWAA
On behalf of NWAA, I am privileged to have supported the Burnley College Themis awards, first by undertaking the difficult role of judge for three of categories including Digital Pioneer Apprentice but I also had the honour of presenting the Future Innovator Award to the worthy recipient, Bethany Cobb, of The Senator Group.
I was joined at the Awards evening, held at Turf Moor, Burnley, by new NWAA Chair Prof Andrew Schofield where we were pleased to see member organisations Paradigm Precision and Hycrome Aerospace win awards. It was a thoroughly enjoyable evening, and shone the spotlight on many deserving apprentices.
