Celebrating BTEC & T Level Learners’ Success at B&FC!
This year’s BTEC and T Level results demonstrated the significant impact of technical education with all B&FC learners progressing to university places, apprenticeships or employment.
Our T Level entries grew by 66 per cent compared with last year. Overall pass rates rose and high grades increased from 59 to 63 per cent with half of our courses achieving a 100 per cent pass rate.
Across all subjects, 11 per cent of B&FC T Level students gained a Distinction. The Construction area performed very strongly with Design, Surveying and Planning students achieving 100 per cent passes with 94 per cent at high grades.
BTEC Extended Diploma students also excelled with 100 per cent pass rates in areas such as Aeronautical Engineering, Creative and Performing Arts, Media, Applied Science and Business. We had 26 students achieving a Distinction – with two securing the top award of Triple Distinction Star.
Ameerah, who studied T Level Digital Production, said: “I enjoyed every aspect of my course, from learning new programming languages to working with professionals at the DWP. The support I got from my tutors was amazing.”
Logan, a Triple Distinction Star achiever in BTEC Aeronautical Engineering, said: “It was definitely the right choice – the course suited my learning style and has opened doors to university and future degree apprenticeships.”
Alun Francis, B&FC Chief Executive Officer, added: “These qualifications give our students the knowledge, skills and behaviours that set them on the path to vibrant futures. It is particularly gratifying to see so many achieving such exceptional results and having ambitious next steps.”
Congratulations to the Class of 2025!
