Green Shield Group appoints Clive Hutchinson as Installations Manager

Lancashire-based Green Shield Group (GSG), a leading renewable provider has announced the appointment of Clive Hutchinson as new Installations Manager.

Clive joins the company following a successful year working alongside Green Shield Group as a contracted installation partner, where he led high-profile projects for clients such as Boeing and Addison Precision. Now stepping into a permanent role, Clive will oversee the installation operations and play a key role within the company’s core project team, alongside Sarah Howard and Alex Palffy.

As an accredited electrical engineer with years’ experience in commercial and residential solar, Clive is set to bring a strong track record in renewable energy delivery and will lead site inspections, project mobilisation, and end-to-end installation of GSG’s commercial renewable technologies.

Clive said: “Having worked closely with GSG over the past year, I’ve seen first-hand the incredible work they deliver across their projects. Joining the team full-time was a natural next step, and I’m excited to help scale our installation capabilities as we deliver impactful renewable solutions across the UK. It’s a great feeling to be part of a team that’s driving change and I am looking forward to getting started.”

Clive will be managing a range of upcoming installations, including projects for an education trust in Southwest England – spanning systems from 30 to 100 kWp as well as a six site project for Midlands Expressway on the M6 Toll Road and a 610 kWp project in Blackpool.
