Shaping the Future – gathering all our apprentices and early career employees

For National Apprenticeship Week we brought together apprentices and early career colleagues from across Hyde Group for a National Apprenticeship Week event, Shaping the Future: Why Young People Matter to UK Industry. Hosted by Paul Cox, Sales & Marketing Director, the event welcomed more than 80 attendees from 19 business units.

The day explored the UK’s evolving industrial landscape and why Hyde Group’s work is more important than ever. Sessions highlighted the strength of young engineering talent and the skills needed to support future UK industry.  Anthony Hammond, Joint Managing Director of Hyde Aero Products, spoke on the vital role apprentices play in securing manufacturing’s future. This was followed by inspiring contributions from Commodore Thomas Knowles and Daniel Abbott of Babcock, linking engineering skills to national capability.
