Based in Cheadle, Cheshire, WSS-UK is the UK’s only OEM-authorised Weiss spindle repair centre and operates as part of the global Weiss Spindeltechnologie and Innomotics network. The Spindle Hotel provides OEM-approved storage conditions for spare and replacement spindles, ensuring they remain in optimal condition and ready for immediate deployment. Units are stored in climate-controlled conditions, correctly orientated and protected against contamination and moisture ingress.

Routine inspection programmes include run-out checks, vibration assessment and documented condition reporting. This approach helps prevent issues commonly associated with long-term storage, ensuring spindles remain fully serviceable when required.
