NATEP Graphics For Parisb

The Aerospace Growth Partnership developed the National Aerospace Technology Exploitation Programme (NATEP) aimed at small and medium sized suppliers to help them develop their own innovative technologies to enhance their capabilities and increase their ability to win new business with higher tier companies anywhere in the world.

The aim of the £40million Aerospace Growth Partnership programme was to fund 100 projects that will develop innovative technologies for new products or manufacturing processes and to create and safeguard jobs within the UK aerospace supply chain.

By the end of 2015 this number was exceeded when the fifth and final Call for bids was completed. All NATEP grant funding was at that point committed to a total of 114 collaborative projects with 268 companies being in receipt of grant funding and supported by a further 152 end user or customer companies. Farnborough Aerospace Consortium, Midlands Aerospace Alliance, North West Aerospace Alliance, the West of England Aerospace Forum, Invest Northern Ireland and Scottish Enterprise in conjunction with the National Team of Technology Managers are now closely collaborating with the funded project partners to bring their innovative technologies to a successful outcome.

Whilst no further NATEP funding is available at the current time, any opportunities to submit bids for further grants in 2016 will be publicised on this page and the NATEP website.
