NWAA Annual Ball 2026 | Proud Supporters Of:
Children In Need are there for the UK’s children and young people and is the official charity of the BBC in the UK. It raises money to support disadvantaged children and young people facing challenges like poverty, mental health problems, and disability. Famous for its yellow Pudsey Bear mascot, the charity holds a big annual television appeal show to fund local youth projects.
What the Charity Does:
- Funding Projects: Gives grants to local charities and youth groups across the UK.
- Key Issues: Helps young people deal with poverty, illness, distress, or mental health struggles.
- Pudsey Bear: The famous spotty bear mascot has helped raise money since 1985.

• Live Band Performance | Funtime Frankies are back by popular demand! Our award-winning function band returns to the NWAA Annual Ball for another unforgettable performance. After stealing the show last time, Funtime Frankies are returning to get the dancefloor moving with a fantastic mix of live music, infectious energy, and crowd favourites. So, once dinner is over and the formalities are done, it’s time to let your hair down, hit the dancefloor and party the night away because this, they’re turning the volume all the way up!
• Dancing & Celebration | Once the band has finished, the party certainly doesn’t stop! The dancefloor will be ready and waiting, with DJ Ben back on the scene to keep the celebrations going into the early hours. From classic favourites to modern floor-fillers, expect a soundtrack designed to keep the energy high and the dancefloor busy. If last year was anything to go by, there will be very little sitting down once the music starts!.
• Charity Raffle & Auction | Alongside the celebrations, we’ll be coming together to support a truly important cause. Our charity raffle and auction will give guests the opportunity to win some fantastic prizes while helping raise vital funds for BBC Children in Need.
