DMC LaceLok® Demonstrations Attract Strong Interest at the Farnborough International Airshow

The Farnborough International Airshow proved highly successful for Heamar, generating strong interest in our live DMC LaceLok® demonstrations and creating valuable new business opportunities. Bringing together leading organisations and professionals from across the global aerospace, aviation and defence industries, the show gave us an excellent opportunity to meet customers, make new connections and demonstrate some of the specialist solutions available from Heamar.

Throughout the event, our team delivered live demonstrations of DMC LaceLok®, showing visitors how the system provides a faster, safer and more consistent approach to secondary wire-harness support. The demonstrations attracted considerable attention, with visitors keen to see the installation process first-hand and understand how LaceLok® compares with conventional cable ties and hand-tied lacing tape.

Seeing the system in action allowed us to demonstrate just how quick and straightforward it is to use. We were also able to answer technical questions and discuss the different ways LaceLok® could support customers working in aerospace manufacturing, maintenance, repair and other demanding applications. The response was extremely positive. Many visitors immediately recognised the potential benefits for their own operations, resulting in valuable conversations and plenty of interest for our team to follow up after the show.

Manufactured by Daniels Manufacturing Corporation, DMC LaceLok® is an innovative cable-management solution designed as an alternative to traditional cable ties and hand-tied lacing tape. Its small, rounded fastener helps minimise abrasion, while the specialist installation tool applies a consistent and controlled force. This creates a secure, repeatable result and reduces the variation that can occur when cable harnesses are tied manually.

Farnborough was an excellent opportunity for us to speak directly with engineers, technicians and decision-makers about the challenges they face when working with wire harnesses. The enthusiasm surrounding our LaceLok® demonstrations was one of the highlights of the event. We were delighted by the number of people who stopped to watch, ask questions and discuss possible applications with our team.
