Graham Engineering Ltd Launches New Brand Identity to Reflect Growth, Capability and Future Ambition
Investment in leadership, advanced manufacturing and defence capability positions GEL for the next chapter
Graham Engineering Ltd (GEL) has unveiled a refreshed brand identity, marking an important milestone as the company approaches its sixth decade in business.
The rebrand reflects far more than a new visual identity. It represents the evolution of a business that continues to invest in its people, facilities, technology and manufacturing capability while strengthening its position within the UK’s most highly regulated and safety-critical industries.
Since joining the A2E Industries Group, Graham Engineering has continued to build on its long-established reputation for delivering high-integrity manufacturing solutions, supporting customers across Defence, Nuclear, Aerospace, Medical and Security sectors.
Operating from a 330,000 sq ft manufacturing facility in Nelson, Lancashire, the business provides comprehensive engineering capability spanning fabrication, welding, precision machining, laser welding, deep draw pressing, inspection, testing and assembly, enabling customers to access a complete manufacturing solution under one roof.
A Brand That Reflects the Business Today
The refreshed branding has been developed to better represent the modern, innovative and forward-looking organisation that Graham Engineering has become.
While the company’s appearance is evolving, its commitment to quality, reliability, technical excellence and customer partnership remains unchanged.
The rebrand will be introduced progressively across digital platforms, customer communications, technical documentation, marketing materials, exhibitions and site signage throughout the year.
Importantly, there are no changes to the company’s legal entity, products, services or customer relationships.
Strengthening UK Manufacturing Capability
Alongside its new identity, Graham Engineering continues to invest in the technical capability required to support long-term manufacturing programmes across critical industries.
Recent investment has included strengthening the senior leadership team, developing future engineering talent through apprenticeships and enhancing specialist manufacturing capability to meet the evolving requirements of regulated sectors.
Most recently, the company achieved DIN 2303 Class Q2, Component Class BK1 approval for relevant welding work on military technical products.
This internationally recognised approval provides independent verification of Graham Engineering’s welding governance, technical competence, quality systems and organisational controls, strengthening its position as a UK manufacturing partner for defence programmes requiring robust process control, traceability and technical assurance.
The approval is particularly relevant for defence primes, Tier 1 suppliers, project engineers and procurement teams seeking resilient UK manufacturing capability for military technical products and high-integrity welded assemblies.
Investing in People
Investment in people remains central to Graham Engineering’s long-term strategy.
Working closely with education providers, industry partners and apprenticeship organisations, the business continues to develop the next generation of engineers while supporting continuous professional development across its existing workforce.
This ongoing commitment ensures GEL continues to strengthen its technical capability while helping address future engineering skills requirements across UK manufacturing.
