Lubrication, Maintenance and Tribotechnology (LUBMAT 2023) 17th July 2023 – 19th July 2023

The Eighth European Conference and Exhibition on “Lubrication Maintenance and Tribotechnology” (LUBMAT 2023) will offer an academic / industry interface to discuss problems and solutions related to lubrication, maintenance and tribotechnology.

LUBMAT 2023 will be held in the new £35m Engineering Innovation Centre (EIC), located at the Preston Campus of the University of Central Lancashire. The conference will include plenary presentations from key experts, parallel sessions, student activities and an exhibition.

Contributors are invited to submit abstracts/papers in engineering applications describing work related to lubrication, maintenance and topic associated with lubrication, friction and wear.

Exhibition space is available for hire by industrial suppliers alongside opportunities for commercially orientated presentations. There are also opportunities for event sponsorship.

Networking events include a guided visit to Samlesbury Hall and a heritage steam railway, “Ribble Steam” in Preston Docks (including a ride on a steam drawn train). Both events are complemented by food and drinks.
