MAPAL Reports Strong Engagement and Technical Interest at MACH 2026
MAPAL is pleased to report a highly successful week at MACH 2026, marked by sustained engagement from manufacturers and engineers across the UK. The team welcomed a significant number of enquiries ranging from productivity enhancements to advanced, sector‑specific tooling requirements — reflecting strong market confidence in MAPAL’s capabilities and technical expertise across multiple industries.
Throughout the exhibition, MAPAL showcased its latest 2026 tooling innovations, including high‑performance aluminium machining solutions, advanced face milling technologies, and the newest developments in hydraulic chuck systems. Live demonstrations on partner stands generated considerable interest, featuring MAPAL’s solutions for machining high‑alloyed steels on the high‑performance 5‑axis horizontal HELLER HF 5500 machine on the Mills CNC stand. Additional demonstrations highlighted MAPAL’s reaming and face milling solutions for a pump housing component on the large‑capacity 5‑axis a800z Makino machine, equipped with Vision BTS technology, on the NCMT stand.
The aerospace tooling section further showcased MAPAL’s recent partnership with bavius technology, demonstrating the machining of a highly complex aircraft component on the dynamic AeroCell 160 | 400 machine. Through the combined expertise of both machine and tooling, the component was completed in just 10 hours — a significant improvement compared to 20–30 hours on other machining platforms.
Eugene Nugent, Director of Sales, commented: “The component sparked in‑depth technical discussions around MAPAL’s industry knowledge and our ability to operate as a cooperative global unit to optimise powerful tooling strategies and processes to achieve application‑driven engineering. We have some of the best industrial expertise within MAPAL, who continually push tooling performance to the limit — the latest component demonstrates the achievement between close collaboration and trusted partnerships.”
